Where is Hotel Sonnenburg located?

Our conference hotel is located at 1.650 meters in the Austrian village Oberlech am Arlberg, only a few meters above Lech am Arlberg. Hotel Sonnenburg consists of two venues: the 5-star Hotel Stammhaus Sonnenburg and the 4-star Superior Hotel Landhaus Sonnenburg. Both buildings are only a few meters apart. Besides, they are connected through a short underground passage. Conference hotel Sonnenburg is an ideal location for events of any kind and, in addition, offers a wide range of activities for a supporting programme.

Where is the Conference Centre located?

Our convention centre is located right below 4-star superior Hotel Landhaus Sonnenburg in Oberlech am Arlberg. You can reach the conference rooms from your accommodation in just a few steps without leaving the hotel.

What is the size of the Conference Centre?

As a conference hotel, we offer 208 m² of conference rooms as well as another room with 33 m². Moreover, there is a spacious foyer and an adjoining terrace available for your use. In addition, there are various rooms throughout the hotel such as the Privatissimum or our library. You can book those seperately according to your needs.

Are there special rates that apply for conferences and seminars?

Yes, there are. We will gladly inform you about our special conference rates upon individual request. Please contact our event team for detailed information.

What does a typical schedule for conventions and trainings look like?

Most symposia, conferences and courses convene in the morning from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and again in the afternoon from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Of course, each organizer determines their own individual schedule. Our event team will advise you and accommodate your wishes competently. This is especially relevant if, for example, your schedule is weather-related.

Where are the accommodations situated? How are they equipped?

The rooms are located at 4 star superior Hotel Landhaus Sonnenburg, where most of our conference guests are accommodated. However, the rooms are furnished differently. To view the particular characteristics of each accommodation, have a look at the double room or the single room.

Is it possible to book a double room for single use?

Congress participants can, of course, book double rooms for single use. For each single occupancy, we deduct € 25.00 per person and night from the room price.

Can the Sonnenburg arrange the transfer of participants to the conference hotel?

Our event team will gladly organise a taxi for your participants via the local taxi agency “Der Lecher”.

Do you have standard arrival and departure times?

Your room contingent will be available from 4 p.m. on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, you can use your room until 11 a.m. Feel free to discuss individual arrival/departure times with our event team in advance: a late check out, for example, is possible on request depending on availability.

What possibilities are there to take care of the participants’ culinary needs?

Our culinary offer is as individual and varied as your event. To begin with, we pamper the participants at our conference hotel with half board. This includes a sumptuous breakfast buffet as well as a 5-course dinner at our hotel restaurant. Beyond that, we are happy to organize individual catering as well as coffee, cakes and cookies, drinks or snacks. Please feel free to discuss your ideas with our event team.
