Making our guests feel comfortable in and around our pool is very important to us. At the same time, we prefer to surround you only with beauty and top quality in our hotel with pool.
For this purpose, we use every means at our disposal: whether it be Austrian design, high-quality materials or the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains.
Our hotel’s design has been created to reflect all these elements. Gerald Schriebl, a renowned interior designer from Lech am Arlberg, is the man in charge of the interior design for our swimming pool area. But let us delve into details.
The back walls of the relaxation area are decorated with printed panelling. They show fish, newts, frogs, water striders, and more animals. During the summer you can find all of them in a nearby pond called “Libellensee” in Oberlech. A team of designers, WEIBERWIRTSCHAFT from nearby Innsbruck, has created this clean design. One of our favourite details is the embroidery on the decorative cushions which you will find on all our loungers. They were hand-stiched for us by talented refugee women from all over the world as part of the initiative “Sticken für den Inneren Frieden” (“Embroidery for Inner Peace”).
You might notice that we have covered the ceilings and walls in spruce wood. One reason for this is the acoustics in the swimming pool area. Wood panels will make you stay pleasantly calm – even while children are having fun in the pool. Another reason is that wood has a positive effect on an indoor climate. What is more, this way we bring a piece of Austrian mountain forest right into our hotel swimming pool. And by the way: it is the handmade tiles from Morocco that provide the contrasting colour accents.
